I have a maple tree with roots damaged by the mower, the damaged areas is now turning black. What can I do?

The areas seem to retain moisture and putrefaction. Is there anything that can be packed in these areas?

1. Stop running into roots with the mower. 2. # 1 If it is not possible, raise the blade. 3. The roots will drive growth and cruel wounds seal over time. Do nothing for # 1 or # 2. Alternatively, if the roots are everywhere in the lawn, you can apply a mixture of soil and compost plants in the area of the seeds. If the root surface is not too far from the tree, creating a circle around the tree, including roots and mulching. Good luck.
