Acai Berry, found recently in the United States, has been named one of the Super-Top-Food. It has many advantages, from the energy of large and rapid, and even participate in the research of cancer deaths.

The Acai berry, also known as Palma de cabbage is grown in the Amazon in a region called Varzea the flooded forest for hundreds of years, but was known only to indigenous peoples, until recently, when he swept around the world as the new Top-Ten-Super-Foods. Floodplains of the Amazon are so called because of the fact that the Amazon river overflows its banks and floods the surrounding area, with more nine feet of water.

The new açaí palm grows easily and regenerates the parties, although human development has destroyed the forest. It therefore is easy to maintain and grow for a long time, about 100 years.

This super food is the staple food of some of the poorest sections of the Amazon basin, but also very popular in Brazil with people of all ages and condition. It is considered the most nutritious fruit of hundreds of edible plants available in the Amazon rainforest. It has saved many families and hundreds of people from hunger and is considered extremely important not only for the people of Brazil and hungry families, but the world as it is known for its incredible benefits.
